This last weekend I was asked by the manager of the Jonas Brothers (Mike Sarner) to make a cake for his daughter Rose! What did she request on her cake?
-A rainbow, clouds, a sun and flowers
(I love doing cakes for little girls!! So cute!)
Since there were going to be over 75 people, we wanted to make sure there was enough cake for everyone... so I made a 1/2 sheet cake (White cake with chocolate mousse) and a 12" round (lemon cake with lemon mousse).
That same day I also donated about 18 dozen Mini Baker cookies for the Wonderland Elementary school in LA. Their school was having a benefit to raise money for their art, music and PE programs. Its an awesome school, so I was more than happy to donate some goodies for a great cause!
And unbenounced to me, the benefit was at Houdini's mansion! (My school only had benefits in the school cafeteria!) So it was quite a treat to roam around his property in the Hollywood Hills.
Rose's cake!! They even ate the rainbow! haha
The birthday girl :)
Isn't she adorable?!
Camp Freddy performed, with singer Mark McGrath (SugarRay) on vocals and Billy Morrison (from The Cult) on guitar, and a few other musicians
from amazing bands.
The gardens on Houdini's mansion. SO beautiful!
Me and my boy. The best company I could ask for!
Creative way to illustrate Rose’s request. Looks like she loved it, too!
